An interpretation of the generational trauma of Black women. From the colonial doctrine (Partus Sequitur Ventrum, 1662), designating the children of Black enslaved women to inherit slave status, to the horrific experimentation of Black women founding the modern gynecology; Black women are forced to carry generations of trauma and racism that still impact our lives and care today.
