The Score Series, 2025
The Score is my interpretation of the trauma carried and passed down through generations of Black Americans. Frequently, I hear the saying “the body keeps the score” from Bessel van der Kolk. This inspired an exploration into the lasting legacies of generational trauma rooted in American slavery and compounded by the injustices and exploitation of every generation since.
